Associate Veterinarian -- Warm, Friendly, Small Animal Clinic in Vandalia
Come join a privately owned, thriving, close-knit animal hospital in Vandalia. Recently expanded and remodeled in 2021, Dixie Veterinary Clinic seeks to provide incredible care for it's continually growing patient base. Working at DVC doesn't just mean clocking in, it means surrounding yourself with amazing humans who truly love vet med like you do and appreciate the work they get to do each day. The team here doesn't just get along, they treat each other like family.
Doctor-owned, the hospital has a team of 5 doctors and over 25 staff members. Each doctor is paired with an assistant to write their medical notes and assist with client communication. Full time doctors typically work about 32 hours or roughly 3.5-4 days a week. 90 min lunches help break up the day and the hospital is open Sat mornings with doctors rotating to just work 1 Sat morning a month. With a nice sized doctor team in place, scheduling allows for flexibility of days as well as stringing long weekends together regularly, if desired.

- Must be willing to do some surgery (or have an internist skillset in lieu of doing some surgery)
- Technology / Facility Includes: Surgical suite, in house pharmacy, in house labs, dental x rays, ultrasound, laser therapy, digital radiography and acupuncture is offered as well.
Compensation and Benefits:
Doctors do quite well here on a ProSal model. In addition, a CE stipend of $2,500 is included as well as uniforms, health insurance plan, a 401K w/ 3% match and 3 weeks of PTO to name a few benefits.
