ABOUT US
AWKN Ranch is a 12-acre wellness sanctuary in South Austin, just 10 minutes from downtown — home to retreats, ceremonies, weddings, and transformational events. Within Center, located on the ranch, is Texas's first ceremonial ketamine-assisted therapy and integration center, with over 1,800 sessions completed and a five-star reputation. Together, we're building one of the most unique healing and hospitality destinations in the country — including the upcoming Dome Collective, an 88-dome wellness community that generated a 400+ person waitlist from organic content alone.
Content is how our story travels. This role is at the center of it.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Marketing & Content Film Coordinator to capture, create, and coordinate the visual storytelling for AWKN Ranch, Within Center, and the Dome Collective. You'll film and photograph life on the ranch — the land, the spaces, the events, the transformation — and turn it into content that fills retreats, books the venue, grows our community, and supports our capital raise.
This is a hands-on creator role. You'll shoot it, edit it, post it, and track what works.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Deliverables
- 12 professionally edited short-form videos/month (30–90 sec), delivered ready-to-post in shared drive
- 1 professional photo set per shoot
- Full editing: color correction, music (where appropriate), basic motion graphics
- Suggested captions + subtitles included
- Manages the $500–1,000/month boost budget on the top 2–3 performing videos (creator recommends, we approve the spend)
- Monthly reporting recap: what posted, what was boosted, and the results (reach, engagement, follower growth, boost performance)
Daily Engagement Expectations
Manages our day-to-day social presence across Instagram and TikTok, including:
- Actively building our following across platforms
- Handles all posting — minimum 3 posts per week across both Instagram accounts
- Utilizes Reels on Instagram and TikTok as the primary short-form format
- Boosting posts on those platforms
- Responding to comments and DMs on posted content
Response time structure:
- Comments & DMs: Monitored and responded to within 24 hours, Monday–Friday
- Peak posting days (when new content drops): Checked and engaged with at least twice per day — morning and afternoon/evening
- Weekends: Lighter monitoring; time-sensitive DMs (booking inquiries, partnership/influencer questions) responded to within 24–48 hours
- Time-sensitive or booking-related messages: Flagged to the team same-day whenever they can't be answered directly
Note: Google, Meta, and LinkedIn ads are managed by an on-staff Ad Manager and are not the responsibility of this role.Influencer Program (within first 90 days)
- Connect with and film 1 influencer per month: reach-outs, securing signed content agreements
- Offer influencers a 1–2 night free stay at the ranch as a rest and retreat package, highlighting the venue rental side of our business, in exchange for content
- The founder has many contacts who would be strong influencer candidates
- $500 bonus per month for delivering and posting the influencer content
Filming & Content Direction
- Filming direction: shoots planned around the booking calendar
- Recommends boost spend on top-performing content (we approve)
- A content calendar will be created for the contractor by the leadership team, in collaboration with the person in this position
Success Metrics (KPIs)
Reviewed at the 75-day check-in and ongoing:
- Follower growth: Month-over-month growth across both Instagram accounts and TikTok
- Engagement rate: Likes, comments, shares, and saves relative to reach/followers
- Reach & views: Organic reach on posted content and views on boosted vs. organic posts
- Posting consistency: Meeting the minimum 3 posts/week cadence
- Output reliability: 12 videos + 1 photo set delivered on time each month
- Influencer program: 1 signed and posted influencer collaboration per month
- Boost performance: Return on the monthly boost spend (cost per view/engagement, top-performer lift)
Content Ownership
All footage, photos, edited videos, and signed influencer agreements produced under this role are work-for-hire and the property of AWKN Ranch. The ranch retains full usage and content rights, and is a named party to all influencer content agreements.
Term & Logistics
- Equipment & software: Contractor provides and uses their own camera equipment and editing software; licensed or royalty-free music/audio is required on all content, especially anything boosted or paid.
- Term: 90-day initial term, with a check-in meeting at day 75 to discuss extension.
- Termination: Either party may terminate with 14 days' written notice. Upon termination, all footage, photos, edited content, and related project files are provided to AWKN Ranch.
Total Monthly Comp
- $2,500/month pay
- $500/month bonus for delivering and posting the influencer content
- $500–1,000/month boost budget (ad spend, approved by us — separate from pay)
