Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to support patient care and transport within a behavioral health and group therapy program. The ideal candidate will assist in providing safe, respectful, and high-quality care to patients, particularly elderly individuals, while ensuring a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including mobility, hygiene, and comfort
- Safely transport patients within the facility as required
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Provide support during behavioral health and group therapy sessions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols
- Deliver compassionate care with respect for patient dignity and privacy
Requirements:
- Valid CNA certification (required)
- Previous experience in patient care, elderly care, or behavioral health preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle patients with care, patience, and professionalism
- Physically able to assist with patient movement and transport
