Position Summary
Arizona Door Store is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Driver / Delivery Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering doors and related materials to residential and commercial job sites, assisting with loading and unloading products, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, and committed to maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver doors, hardware, and related materials.
- Load, unload, and transport products while preventing damage.
- Verify delivery orders and ensure accurate, timely deliveries.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing deliveries.
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Follow all company safety procedures and traffic regulations.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous delivery, driving, warehouse, or construction-related experience preferred.
- Ability to safely lift and carry 50–60+ pounds on a regular basis, including heavy doors and building materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening if required.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of doors and building materials weighing 50–60+ pounds.
- Standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions during deliveries.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour DOE
- 30-day probationary period
