Dixon Chiropractic is seeking to hire an entry to intermediate level Part-Time Chiropractic Assistant to provide support during the following office hours.
Tuesday 3:00 pm-7pm or last patient
Thursday 3:00 pm-7pm or last patient
Must be generally available on Saturday for possible employee coverage ( Saturday 9a-1p)
The Chiropractic Assistant duties will include:
- Greeting Patients
- Resetting treatment rooms & tidying up office (sweeping, mopping, taking out trash)
- Patient hands on therapy
- Taking and recording vitals
- Mild walking, occasional patient assistance with walking
- Must be comfortable with handling urine and blood
Other Duties May include
- Answering phones
- Verifying benefits and eligibility of prospective patients
- Making copies of multiple documents
- Writing, Drawing, Typing, Transcribing
- Scanning/Copying IDs
- Assisting the doctor with other odd jobs
- Sending out emails with attachments
- Reading information from a Driver's License
- Creating Word Documents
- Editing Excel Spreadsheets
- iPhone and iMac computer usage
- Mild Proofreading
- Assisting the doctor with reports
- Sending out E-faxes
- Scanning, copying, and Saving JPEG or PDF Files in different sources
- Processing Payments via Square
- Mailing out documents
- Making phone calls, answering phone calls, sending out and receiving text messages (scheduling patients, providing accurate directions, verifying eligibility of insurance policies)
- Billing and Creating invoices
Education:
- High School Diploma Required
- Associate Degree Preferred
Part-Time Position Incentives

Ideal Candidate:
- Candidate must have computer experience including printing, Bluetooth operations, mild trouble shooting, typing, and search engine usage.
- Chiropractic assistant or physical rehabilitation experience is highly desired, but not required.
- Bilingual in any other language is desirable, but not required.
- HIPPA compliancy knowledge is desired, but not required.
- Excellent bedside manner.
- The strong ability to multi-task.
