Job Summary: Under the direction of the Building Administrator, classroom teacher, and school nurse is responsible for supporting the elementary educational process and responsible for applying general skills to support the health and safety of students in the elementary school setting and health room. Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job descriptions.
Salary Range: $27.38 - $31.13/hour Paraeducator A and $28.91 - $32.84/hour Paraeducator B per 2026-27 Public School Employees Salary Schedule
Above pay rates do not include holiday and pay in lieu of vacation, which increases the hourly compensation.

Work Schedule:

Shift: Monday through Thursday, 11:15 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and Fridays, 9:15 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.

Paid Hours: 4.25 hours per day Monday through Friday

Calendar: 9 months/year; enjoy time office during spring break, winter break and summer, plus 10 paid holidays.
Qualifications:
- Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent, and meet one (1) of the following:

Upon hire, must complete the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS)-Paraeducator Certificate.

Ability to meet the qualifications as listed on the job description for this position.
