- Actively pursue and correct problems with components and systems throughout the facility
- Thorough knowledge of rotating equipment, specifically agitators and pumps.
- Perform mechanical skills including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation repair, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair, basic welding, and pipefitting
- Patrol production areas to inspect equipment and instruments for conditions requiring maintenance or shut down
- Capable of reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blue prints
- Work safely with both low and high voltage circuits and diagnose electric motor, motor control and device control problems.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience – chemical industry is preferred
- Knowledge of repairing and maintaining rotating equipment, machinery, pumps, pneumatics, and hydraulics
