Job Summary:
The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing the full range of duties in electrical systems for aircraft installations.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after production.

Install and maintain electrical systems including cable harness/components.

Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments.

Modify electrical prototypes, parts, assemblies, In accordance with Electrical Drawings/schematics.

Set up and operate test equipment.
-
Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.

Ability to understand Redline processes while working closely with supervisor.

Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical component/wire harness, IAW the electrical Drawing /schematics.

Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required.
Basic Requirements level I:
-
High School diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years of experience with electronic systems, electronics troubleshooting, electronic testing design, analyzing information.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Attention to detail.

Recurring FOD training and awareness, upon hire and annually.

Ability to comprehend schematics and integration/installation drawings.
Basic Requirements level II:
-
High School diploma or equivalent and 2-5 years of experience with electronic systems, electronics troubleshooting, electronic testing design, analyzing information.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Attention to detail.

Recurring FOD training and awareness, upon hire and annually.

Ability to comprehend schematics and integration/installation drawings.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A 620 certification.
Physical Requirements:
-
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Manual dexterity and physical strength are necessary to operate tools or make adjustments and repairs.

Must have visual acuity to inspect equipment and identify defects.

Ability to traverse manufacturing facility.
The range for this position is $20.00 to $37.00. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education and training, job-related knowledge and skills, the scope and level of responsibility of the position, internal equity, and market/business considerations.
