Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions and food orders
- Assist customers with their food service needs, including taking orders, upselling products, and providing friendly service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and retail areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage cash register operations accurately, processing cash transactions and handling customer payments with precision
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure product freshness to promote sales and enhance the shopping environment
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food preparation activities while adhering to sanitation protocols
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service or fast-food restaurants is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to upsell products effectively
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Previous experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store operations is advantageous
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace at all times
