Position Summary
MG3D is seeking an experienced Senior MEP VDC Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of BIM and Virtual Design & Construction services on commercial, industrial, healthcare, and manufacturing projects.
This role is responsible for developing and coordinating multidisciplinary building models, facilitating coordination efforts with project teams, identifying constructability issues, and supporting successful project delivery from design through construction. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise, understands building systems, communicates effectively with clients and project teams, and is capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Perform multidisciplinary coordination between architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Conduct clash detection and issue management utilizing Autodesk Navisworks.
- Lead or participate in coordination meetings with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and trade partners.
- Produce coordinated installation and fabrication drawings as required.
- Review construction documents to identify constructability concerns and coordination conflicts.
- Coordinate models received from clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Support Project Managers throughout project execution.
- Assist with laser scanning, point cloud registration, and Scan-to-BIM workflows when applicable.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of internal BIM standards and workflows.
- Maintain project documentation and support continuous process improvement.
- Perform additional responsibilities consistent with the position and business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in BIM, VDC, or MEP coordination.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
- Experience utilizing Autodesk Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination.
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Strong understanding of commercial building construction and MEP systems.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial mechanical, plumbing, or electrical contractors.
- Experience with laser scanning technologies and Scan-to-BIM workflows.
- Autodesk experience.
- Experience coordinating projects in healthcare, pharmaceutical, industrial, manufacturing, or higher education facilities.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
