Duties
- Excellent customer service and sales techniques.
- Trouble shoot and maintain equipment.
- Lead food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
- Manage POS transactions using Square POS for accurate cash handling and sales processing.
- Support the team in serving beverages, food items, and managing customer inquiries with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with restocking supplies, and maintain cleanliness of the café environment.
- Train new team members on POS systems, food safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Handle cash register functions including cashiering duties, basic math calculations, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
Experience
- Previous barista experience with a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques and coffee art.
- Proven leadership skills or experience as a shift supervisor or team lead in a café or retail setting.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and serving best practices.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Strong customer service skills with an ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
