$14.50 per hour ($15.00 after 60 days)
Drivers will transport clients, such as elderly or persons with disabilities. Drivers assist passengers in boarding and exiting the vehicle. Drivers must adhere to safety rules. Attendance and cleanliness is a must for this position.
Qualifications (on the job training will be provided)
- Patient care experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Experience in senior care or caregiving
- Experience working with individuals with limitations
- Knowledge of Alzheimer's and memory care
- Experience with grant documentation (preferred but we will train)
- Caring and able to work with the senior population and Veteran Population!
Responsibilities
- Safely transport clients to and from appointments, ensuring their comfort and well-being during transit.
- Assist clients with boarding and disembarking, providing support as needed.
- Maintain a clean and mechanically sound vehicle, performing routine checks and reporting any issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring safe driving practices.
- Uphold confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations while interacting with clients and their families.
- Assist with delivering meals to seniors as needed.
