Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical and Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting electrical and mechanical components and systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that products meet quality standards and are assembled according to detailed schematics and blueprints. Duties
- Assemble electrical and mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and production documents to accurately assemble parts
- Measure components with calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math to ensure precise fit and function
- Conduct quality checks by measuring parts against specifications, using tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Solder electrical connections following safety protocols and technical standards
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot assembly issues and adjust components accordingly
- Maintain a clean workspace while adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or related industrial environments
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other shop math tools
- Familiarity with soldering techniques and electrical component assembly
- Knowledge of pneumatic tools, power tools, hand tools, and specialized industrial equipment
- Ability to interpret production documents and follow detailed instructions precisely
- Experience with machining processes or warehouse operations is a plus
- Demonstrated manual handling skills with attention to safety standards in a manufacturing setting
