We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans.
- Provide various types of massage therapy, including trigger point therapy and pain management techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good working condition.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with other health professionals in an occupational health setting when necessary.
- Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring a welcoming and relaxing environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- Proven knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to massage therapy practices.
- Experience in a med spa or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
- Ability to perform patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
- Familiarity with pain management techniques and trigger point therapy is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- Valid massage therapy license as required by state regulations.
