Daylyy is an invite-only social media app built to make social media social again. No algorithms. No AI. No filters. Just real daily posts from your actual friends, in chronological order.
Our mission is simple: help people see their friends again.
This summer, we’re launching a social experiment in NYC to prove that people still want social media to feel casual, fun, and real again. For our first cohort, we’re focusing on fashion, outfit pictures, clothes, shopping, and daily style. Getting dressed is something people do every day, and it gives people an easy reason to post.
The Role
We’re looking for outgoing, connected NYC college students to help recruit our first cohort of users for Daylyy’s NYC social experiment.
This is a paid, part-time role for someone who is social, creative, excited by startups, and plugged into fashion, college life, friend groups, and social circles in NYC.
Your job is to help us find people who would be excited to join Daylyy, post their daily outfits, invite their friends, and help prove that social media can be social again.
What You’ll Do
- Recruit NYC college students and young people to join Daylyy’s first NYC cohort.
- Help identify people who already post outfits, fashion, lifestyle, shopping, or daily moments.
- Reach out to friends, classmates, creators, fashion people, and social circles who would be excited to participate.
- Help bring in small friend groups instead of random individual users.
- Share the Daylyy mission in a way that feels natural, cool, and authentic.
- Help onboard people into the cohort and make sure they understand the experiment.
- Give feedback to the Daylyy team on what messaging is working, what people are saying, and how we can improve.
Who We’re Looking For
You might be a great fit if you:
- Are currently in college in NYC.
- Are outgoing and comfortable talking to people.
- Have a strong social circle or access to different friend groups.
- Are interested in fashion, outfit pictures, shopping, content, or social media.
- Understand why people miss casual, real social media.
- Are excited by startups and want to help build something early.
- Are good at DMing, texting, recruiting, organizing, and getting people excited.
- Believe social media should be more about friends and less about algorithms, AI, influencers, and polished content.
- Are willing to move fast, test ideas, and help us learn.
Why This Matters
Most social platforms today are built for scrolling, algorithms, creators, ads, and AI.
Daylyy is different.
We’re trying to bring back the feeling of posting casually with your friends. The way social media used to feel before everything became polished, performative, and algorithm-driven.
For this first NYC cohort, we’re starting with fashion and daily outfit pictures because it gives people a simple reason to post every day.
The question we’re trying to answer is:
Can we make social media social again?

Compensation
This is a paid, part-time role. Compensation will be discussed based on availability, experience, and scope of involvement.
