** Overview:**
An Exhaust Technician is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining exhaust systems in vehicles. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing necessary repairs, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Inspection and Diagnosis:**
- Examine exhaust systems for leaks, corrosion, and damage.
- Utilize diagnostic tools to identify issues within the exhaust components.
- **Repair and Maintenance:**
- Replace faulty parts, such as mufflers, catalytic converters, and exhaust pipes.
- Perform welding and fabrication as needed to repair exhaust systems.
- **Customer Service:**
- Communicate with customers regarding issues and recommended repairs.
- Provide estimates and explain the repair process clearly.
