As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for both administrative tasks, such as maintaining patient records, and clinical duties, including taking vital signs and assisting healthcare providers during examinations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
## Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
- Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately
- Schedule patient appointments and assist with patient check-in/out
- Maintain medical supplies and equipment in examination rooms
## Requirements
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and basic life support
- Knowledge of Spanish language preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration and patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
