Location: Southern New Hampshire, situated south of Lincoln and Franconia Notch.
Shift Timing: Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Compensation: $30.00 – $47.78 per hour, plus an additional 12% shift premium.
Role Summary
We are looking for a practical Automation Controls Technician to assist in the construction and refinement of bespoke automated machinery. This position is perfect for individuals with a background in mechanics or machining who thrive on diagnosing issues and engaging with cutting-edge industrial technology.
You will work in tandem with engineering teams and fellow technicians to build, wire, evaluate, and resolve issues across diverse automated platforms, including robotics, laser-based systems, feeding mechanisms, and high-precision machinery.
Core Responsibilities-
Construct, wire, plumb, and validate custom automated systems.

Analyze technical schematics, SolidWorks designs, and project requirements.

Identify and resolve mechanical and fundamental electrical system malfunctions.

Ensure the precise alignment, fitting, and integration of machine parts.

Streamline project efficiency by managing incoming components and materials.

Utilize machine shop tools like lathes, mills, and welding gear to support production.

Confirm that equipment meets all dimensional, tolerance, and operational standards.

Support the initial launch and troubleshooting phases of new automation projects.
Qualifications-
Minimum of 5 years working within mechanical, manufacturing, or machining sectors.

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, with experience in fields like automotive, construction, or agriculture.

Proven proficiency in fabrication and the use of machining tools.

Strong capability to comprehend and apply technical blueprints and drawings.

Foundational understanding of electrical components, such as wiring, sensors, and VFDs.

A proactive interest in developing skills related to robotics and PLC automation.
