MTK Technologies, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) in Savoy, Illinois, is seeking a dedicated IT Help Desk Technician / Entry-Level System/Network Administrator to join our in-office team. Key Responsibilities:
- Reset login passwords and manage user access.
- Set up and troubleshoot Office 365 applications and services.
- Configure new workstations and install essential software.
- Diagnose and resolve basic software and hardware issues.
- Manage whitelisting/blacklisting for various security services.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and basic PC troubleshooting.
- Understanding of fundamental networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience (a plus, but not required):
- Familiarity with Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.
- Knowledge of Hyper-V, firewall/router fundamentals, and general backup systems.
- Experience with advanced networking concepts.
Additional Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting wage: $21 per hour, up to $26 (based on experience and education).
