We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for either a full-time or part-time position. Both experienced PTAs and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Position Summary
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of our licensed Physical Therapists to provide high-quality care in a busy outpatient orthopedic setting. You will implement established treatment plans, educate patients, document progress, and help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and other appropriate physical therapy interventions
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, proper technique, and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
- Collaborate closely with Physical Therapists and clinical staff
- Help create a positive, encouraging, and welcoming experience for every patient
Qualifications
- Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while also being part of a collaborative team
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Compensation & Benefits
$38–$43/hour, depending on experience
