As a Locum Gastroenterologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal conditions, contributing to the overall health and well-being of our patients. Collaborating with a skilled team of healthcare professionals, you will engage in patient consultations, procedure execution, and continued medical education within our practice.
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and consultations

Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders

Perform endoscopic procedures and other relevant interventions

Collaborate with nursing staff and other specialists as needed

Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records

Educate patients about health management and preventive care

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and case reviews

Stay up-to-date with advancements in gastroenterology practice
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

Valid medical license in the state of practice

Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care

Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient setting is preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday (7a-5p), specific dates
Call: 24-hour beeper call shifts
Setting: Inpatient
Patient Volume: 1 per day
Must be able to cover GI emergencies, including advanced/ERCP procedures
Support Staff: NP
Board certification required
