Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our growing local team working under a licensed local master electrician.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various in residential and sometimes commercial sites. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards, including the National Electrical Code (NEC), and meets project specifications/homeowner expectations.

Responsibilities and desired traits-

Install new electrical services and panels in home and businesses.
Replace electrical panels and equipment following NEC guideline .
Work with home/business owners and management.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprints.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to execute precise installations.
- Work on construction sites, renovation projects, and industrial facilities ensuring all wiring adheres to NEC standards.
- Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues and verify system integrity.
- Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry and handyman services to coordinate project activities effectively.Requirements
- Valid journeyman electrician license or certification with proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.(references ok, we offer path to licesening and paid training)
- Extensive hands-on experience with electrical systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair on construction sites.
- Strong knowledge of NEC regulations, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing devices essential for electrical diagnostics.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and perform framing carpentry or handyman tasks as needed.
- Excellent safety awareness and adherence to OSHA standards during all phases of work.
- Ability to follow directions. Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Pay: $31.04 - $42.00 per hour
