Full Time Medical Assistant Positions needed for an upscale cosmetic/medical practice in Manhattan (Gramercy). Applicant must be a self-motivated team player who will focus on catering to the needs of a high-end practice. Applicant should be an easy-going, well-spoken caregiver who can anticipate the needs of patients and practitioners in a busy office.
**MODMED EMA AND DERMATOLOGY EXPERIENCE A MUST **
Medical Assistant Duties: patient intake, taking patient HPI, acting as scribe for doctor utilizing an electronic medical record, reviewing in detail procedures/after care and following up with patients, interfacing with labs, managing patient lab results, reviewing treatment plans and protocol, reviewing medication, sterilizing instruments, post procedure guidelines, inventory management, prior authorizations and communicating with pharmacies all while ensuring the comfort of each patient.
College degree required. Applicant must have impeccable communication, verbal and interpersonal skills, excellent customer service skills and a caring nature. This position is an excellent opportunity for those seeking a career in healthcare, and previous Medical Assistants have been accepted to medical school. 2 year commitment strongly preferred.
Candidates who are willing to travel between offices as needed will be given strong consideration, as flexibility is a huge plus for this role.
