Ocean2Table is looking for a new team member who is interested in working directly with Wild Fish, Mushrooms and Produce all from California and making deliveries to peoples homes and restaurants. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be comfortable or interested in working with whole fish, shellfish, crab and other seafood. Time is split between production in our kitchen, order packing in the warehouse and delivery and pickup on the road with opportunity to help with logistics, organization, harvest at our orchard and working directly with fisherman, farmers and foragers.
Schedule Flexible: Example Tues-Friday 7am-3pm or Weds-Friday 9-5pm
Duties:
- Delivery in a company vehicle to homes, restaurants and wholesalers including a 20ft Box Truck. Clean driving record required
- Follow routes and instructions with high accuracy and efficiency
- Participate in cleaning, filleting and portioning of fish and shellfish- Assist with the loading and unloading from trucks and delivery vehicles- Ensure that all products are properly stored and organized- Assist with inventory management- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas
Experience:- Prior experience working with seafood, delivering or working in a kitchen is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks
- Familiarity with operating pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including organizing and preparing orders for delivery
Requirements:
- Must live in Santa Cruz County
- Drivers license and clean driving record
- Basic Math Skills
- Own a smart phone
- Ability to lift 60lbs
