SCREEN PRINT OPERATOR
Operates screen print presses to print decorative designs on garments by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Reads work order to determine proper logo and location of screen print.
· Determines from orders type and color of designs to print.
· Checks with supervisor on all aspects of what each job curtails.
· Patrols printing area to monitor production activities and to detect problems, such as mechanical breakdowns or malfunctions.
· Trains workers in use of printing equipment and in quality standards.
· Check garments, colors, and all programs to be run.
· Loading and unloading of screen print machine.
· Feeding printed garments into the screen print dryer.
· Follows all safety procedures to assure a safe workplace.
· Other duties may be assigned as directed by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
· Ability to Stand 8 to 10 Hours per Day
· Ability to Lift Up to 25 lbs Frequently
· Expected to Lift and Reach
· Able to Understand and Follow Verbal and Written Instructions with Minimal Supervision
· Able to Multitask
· Must be Able to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
· Must be Able to Work Flexible Schedule and Overtime, as needed
· Simple math, counting skills
· On the job training, no experience required
