Part-Time Registered Nurse — Laser Hair Removal Clinician
Pay: $40/hour plus tips (currently an extra ~$10/hour in tips), up to $52/hour based on experience, performance, and seniority

About Us
We're a woman-owned small business specializing in laser hair removal, with locations in Hyattsville MD, Fairfax VA, and Towson MD. We're now expanding into Philadelphia — and we're looking for dedicated, personable Registered Nurses to join our team and help us open our newest location.
Position Overview
This is a part-time position built around one set weekday shift and one weekend shift each week, with opportunities to pick up additional hours as our Philadelphia location grows. As the medical professional on-site during your shifts, you'll have the support of our Medical Director and Clinic Manager remotely, but you'll own both client treatments and basic clinic management while you're here.
Key Details — A Realistic Day in the Life
- Schedule: One set weekday shift per week + one weekend shift per week, with the option to pick up additional shifts as we grow
- Shift Times: Either 8am–2pm or 2pm–8pm (weekend morning shifts are rotated among staff since most people prefer them — but if you'd rather stick to weekend afternoons, that's fine!)
- Client Volume: Fast-paced environment with 10–15 clients per 6-hour shift (we call it "soft nursing," but we want to be clear: this is a fast-paced job)
- Pay: Starting at $40/hour, up to $52/hour based on experience, performance, and seniority
- Tips: Current nurses average approximately $10/hour in additional tips
- Location: Philadelphia
Responsibilities
Clinical
- Perform laser hair removal treatments while ensuring client comfort and safety
- Conduct thorough client assessments and determine treatment suitability
- Provide comprehensive education on procedures and aftercare
- Maintain detailed treatment records and track client progress
- Operate and maintain laser equipment (Candela GentleMax Pro Plus)
Operational
- Manage clinic opening/closing procedures during your shifts
- Handle client scheduling and checkout processes
- Perform clinic cleanup and on-site laundry as needed
- Monitor and communicate supply needs to the Clinic Manager
- Assist with basic inventory management
- Contribute to social media content (less than 3 hours/week)
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania or a compact nursing license
- Prior laser hair removal experience preferred but not required
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a warm, friendly demeanor
- Ability to maintain high energy and a positive attitude throughout busy shifts — we want HIGH energy individuals who can "zap and yap" with our clients
- Strong multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills
- Willingness to take ownership of clinic operations during your shifts
- Comfort with technology (scheduling software, point-of-sale systems, etc.) — our systems are super efficient and extremely user-friendly
