Location: Rockford, Illinois
Pay Rate: $56.00/hr $58.00/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience: Minimum 2 years required
EMR: EPIC
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Float Pool contract opportunity in Rockford, IL. This role supports ICU, Step-Down ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, and Med/Surg units. Candidates must have ICU experience and be comfortable floating to Med/Surg when needed.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care across assigned float pool units
Care for ICU, Step-Down, Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, and Med/Surg patients
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Develop and follow individualized patient care plans
Document patient care accurately in EPIC
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Escalate patient safety concerns through the proper chain of command
Requirements
Active Illinois Registered Nurse License required
ICU experience required
Extensive cardiac experience required
AHA Basic Life Support required
AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support required
NIHSS certification required
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Must be willing to float to Med/Surg as needed
Holiday coverage required
