GG Transport is currently seeking experienced and reliable Over-the-Road (OTR) Commercial Truck Drivers to join our growing team. As an OTR driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across long distances, typically crossing multiple states. We are committed to safety, reliability, and treating our drivers with the respect they deserve.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial tractor-trailer (Class A CDL required) across state lines
- Deliver freight on time and in excellent condition
- Plan routes effectively and meet delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle inspections, and mileage (ELD compliant)
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Follow all DOT and company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Secure cargo according to company standards and DOT regulations
Requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable OTR experience preferred
- Clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD systems
- Willingness to be on the road
- Excellent time-management and communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Base Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per week
