Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust, dirt, and debris.
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish towels and toiletries as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the property.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns.
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred.
- Strong understanding of floor care techniques and equipment operation.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with guests and team members.
