What You'll be Doing:
Provide plumbing construction and maintenance services for the Birck Nanotechnology Center, a highly specialized facility that supports advanced research. The building includes complex systems that distribute ultra-clean air and utilities, supported by sophisticated control and alarm systems to ensure safety and cleanliness.
Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for heating, gas, air, water, and drainage in compliance with cleanroom standards. Inspect, evaluate, and oversee the fabrication of piping using a variety of materials, including galvanized, black iron, copper, stainless steel, glass, cast iron, ductile iron, duriron, clay, concrete, and aluminum. Read and interpret blueprints, perform calculations, and develop schematics for plumbing system installations and modifications.
