MUST HAVES:
- 2+ years’ of experience as a hospital/facility collector (can be from a third party but must be directly collecting for hospitals rather than small clinics)
- Experience with an EHR system
- Heavy insurance follow up experience and commercial insurance knowledge
- HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Experience touching 45+ accounts per day
PLUSSES:
- 2+ years of Cerner experience
Day To Day:
Insight Global is looking for a High Dollar Hospital Collector with a strong work ethic and high level of professionalism. This person will be expected to go onsite five days a week from the hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm; there is flexibility on arriving at 7:30am, 8, 8:30, or 9am for an 8-hour shift. Each day will begin with a morning huddle at 10:00am, then focus on the work queue, and then work on 20-45 accounts for the remainder of the day. This person will be expected to come from a hospital setting working with high dollar accounts and dealing with appeals as well as a variety of insurances under PPO. Must have strong knowledge of managed care contracts and have knowledge of current regulatory requirements to ensure prompt and accurate reimbursement.
Duration: 6-month contract (potential extensions)
Hours: M-F (Start time at either 7:30am, 8am, 8:30am, or 9am)
Pay: $25-$27/hr
