Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness at the bar, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all guests. Inventory and ordering experience is also preferred, as well as wine knowledge and East Asian beverages.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their tastes.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist with restocking as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service for guests.
- Attend to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a restaurant, fine dining, nightclub, or banquet setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes is a plus.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
