Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial General Liability Claims Adjuster with a strong background in litigated claims to join a well-established organization on a dedicated account! This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned claims professional who is comfortable managing complex litigation matters, exercising independent judgment, and handling claims from initial assignment through resolution.
The position is fully remote and offers the opportunity to work with claims across the United States. The caseload is intentionally structured to allow adjusters to focus on quality claim handling, thoughtful analysis, and timely resolution rather than simply managing a high volume of files.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of approximately 100–120 litigated commercial general liability claims nationwide.

Handle claims throughout the litigation lifecycle, from assignment through settlement or resolution.

Evaluate coverage, liability, damages, reserves, and exposure while developing appropriate claim strategies.

Work closely with defense counsel, insureds, claimants, and other stakeholders throughout the litigation process.

Analyze legal and factual issues and make sound, well-supported claim decisions.

Maintain accurate claim files, documentation, reserves, and diary activities in accordance with established procedures.

Identify opportunities for early resolution while appropriately managing complex or high-exposure matters.

Independently prioritize workload and meet established performance, quality, and compliance expectations.

Maintain strong attention to detail while effectively managing multiple active litigation matters.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Commercial General Liability Claims Adjuster who has substantial hands-on experience with litigated claims and is comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Qualified candidates will ideally have:

Significant experience handling litigated Commercial General Liability claims.

Strong knowledge of the litigation process, including working directly with defense counsel.

Experience evaluating liability, damages, coverage, reserves, and settlement exposure.

Demonstrated ability to manage a substantial caseload while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

A high level of ownership, accountability, and professional judgment.

Experience handling claims in California, New York, and Florida is strongly preferred.

An active New York adjuster license is preferred.

Texas and Florida adjuster licenses are strongly preferred, or the ability to obtain additional licenses quickly as needed.
