Florida Medical Pain Management is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Interventional Pain Management Physician (MD or DO) with fellowship training in Pain Medicine to join our rapidly growing, physician-owned practice.
We are seeking a compassionate, highly skilled physician specializing in Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) who is committed to delivering evidence-based, minimally invasive pain management while improving patients' quality of life.
This position involves providing care at our New Port Richey and Spring Hill, Florida locations.

Florida Medical Pain Management is a comprehensive interventional pain practice dedicated to restoring function and improving quality of life through advanced, minimally invasive treatments.
Unlike many traditional pain practices, we emphasize interventional procedures rather than chronic opioid management. Our philosophy focuses on identifying and treating the underlying cause of pain whenever possible.
Our multidisciplinary team includes:
- Experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
- Medical Assistants dedicated to physician workflow
- Clinical Psychologist
- Experienced administrative and insurance authorization staff
The selected physicians will be supported by an experienced clinical team, allowing them to focus on patient care and procedural excellence.
Interventional Procedures
Experience or fellowship training in the following procedures is highly desirable:
- Epidural Steroid Injections
- Facet Joint Injections
- Medial Branch Blocks
- Radiofrequency Ablation
- Sacroiliac Joint Injections
- Sympathetic Blocks
- Peripheral Nerve Blocks
- Regenerative and Ultrasound-Guided Procedures (preferred)
- Sacroiliac Joint Fusion
- Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression (MILD®)
- Lumbar facet joint fusion
- Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials – lumbar / cervical
- Permanent Spinal Cord Stimulator Implantation – lumbar / cervical
- Peripheral Nerve Stimulators – both trial and permanent
- Kyphoplasty and Vertebral Augmentation
Responsibilities Position Responsibilities
The physician will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic pain conditions, including:
- New patient consultations- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Follow-up visits
- Development of individualized treatment plans
- Performance of office-based and ASC-based interventional procedures
- Coordination of multidisciplinary care
- Communication with referring physicians
- Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic studies.
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Perform fluoroscopically guided interventional pain procedures.
- Educate patients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and expected outcomes.
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Attend required provider and administrative meetings.
- Maintain compliance with Medicare, commercial insurance, state, and federal regulations.
- Stay current with advances in pain medicine through continuing medical education.
Qualifications Required
- MD or DO
- Fellowship Training in Pain Medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine
- Florida Medical License (or eligible)
- Medicare and Medicaid number
- DEA Registration
- BLS Certification ACLS Certification
Preferred
- Minimum two or more years of interventional pain management experience after fellowship
- Strong fluoroscopic procedural skills
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Strong EMR and computer proficiency
- Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Monday through Friday
- No weekends
- No hospital call
Practice Locations:
- New Port Richey, Florida
- Spring Hill, Florida
- St. Petersburg for advanced procedure in ASC – one day a week
