Job Description & Responsibilities
Job Title: Workshop Material & Logistics Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Assistance & Planning:
- Assist in formulating and reviewing daily inbound and outbound workshop order schedules to ensure smooth production and shipping workflows.
- Raw Material Receiving & Quality/Quantity Verification:
- Execute raw material requisition and workshop intake according to order requirements.
- Verify the quantity, specifications, and physical quality of delivered materials on-site; promptly communicate and coordinate with relevant departments (Purchasing, Warehouse, QA) upon discovering any discrepancies or defects.
- Finished Goods Dispatch & Loading Supervision:
- Verify finished goods quantity and SKU specifications against shipping orders.
- Supervise the loading and dispatch process on-site to ensure accurate counts, proper handling, and prevent mis-shipments, missing items, or cargo damage.
- Inventory Tracking & Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate daily logs for all raw materials and finished goods entering and leaving the workshop, ensuring physical inventory matches order records.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in in warehouse operations, material handling, receiving, or shipping.
- experience in food production, cold storage, or meat manufacturing is strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively report quality or quantity discrepancies across departments.
- Strong numerical skills and high attention to detail for verifying batch numbers, counts, weights, and expiration dates is a plus.
- Hands-on problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer systems.
- Bilingual ( English/Chinese) is highly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
