Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency of HVAC equipment across various properties. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and plumbing components.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and equipment inspections to prevent future failures.
- Install new HVAC systems and components following safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical circuits and mechanical parts effectively.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and reports to ensure accurate documentation of all activities performed.
- Collaborate with property managers and clients to assess needs and recommend energy-efficient solutions or upgrades.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a strong background in construction, appliance repair, or property maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems including ammonia refrigeration and HVAC design principles.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals with ease.
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and equipment repair.
- Field service experience with a focus on air conditioning systems and refrigeration units.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting; experience with ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical skills complemented by experience in maintenance tasks involving boilers or other large mechanical systems.

Pay: $53,320.95 - $100,000.00 per year
