Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or hospitality spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met consistently
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Use cleaning equipment and detergents effectively to maintain cleanliness of floors, carpets, surfaces, and fixtures
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or supplies with proper safety techniques
- Communicate professionally with clients or residents to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when applicable, including patios or entryways
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments such as hotels or custodial roles
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and floor care techniques
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Customer service-oriented mindset with effective communication skills
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, outdoor work, and manual handling tasks
- Familiarity with cleaning supplies including detergents and disinfectants
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus
