Regent Aero is a growing aircraft repair company specializing in composite repairs, structural repair, and aircraft painting services. We provide mobile, on‑site services to charter operators, corporate aircraft owners, and aviation service providers throughout Florida and southeast Georgia. Our mission is to provide the highest level of repairs to the corporate aviation industry. We have a vision to see Regent Aero grow into a full-scale refurbishment and repair facility that will specialize in manufacturer quality finishes.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Painter to join our team. This role will focus on high‑quality aircraft painting, touch‑up work, and refinishing services for corporate and charter aircraft. The ideal candidate will have aviation painting experience and be comfortable with mobile/field operations. We currently provide solutions for paint repair on corporate aircraft and paint services for all of our structural repairs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform aircraft painting, touch-up, and refinishing work to aviation industry standards
· Prepare aircraft surfaces including stripping, sanding, alodine, acid prep, and epoxy priming
· Document work performed for FAA compliance and customer records
· Coordinate with paint suppliers for all coating needs
· Maintain professional relationships with customers and FBO personnel
· Travel to customer locations throughout Jacksonville and surrounding area as needed
· The painter will handle all coordination and supply purchasing to complete paint work.
· Perform other duties as required for Regent Aero’s over all work load.
· May require travel and weekend work depending on flight schedule needs or AOG.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
. MUST be able to work independently while meeting FAA standards
. Must be able to shoot blow in repairs
. Minimum 5 years aircraft painting experience
· Understanding of FAA regulations related to aircraft refinishing
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
· Ability to work in various weather conditions and locations
· Strong attention to detail and quality standards
· Knowledge of composite surface preparation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience with corporate/charter aircraft
· Mobile painting experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
· Comfortable working at heights (ladders, scaffolding)
· Ability to wear respirator and protective equipment for extended periods
· Manual dexterity for detailed painting work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
