Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Residential Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects within a 30-40 mile radius of Chadds Ford, PA.
Our projects include home additions, kitchens, baths, decks, porches, sunrooms, pools, patios, fireplaces, windows, doors, siding, roofing, and much more.
We are a full Design and Build Construction firm.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional time management skills, customer service skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the construction processes. This role requires proficiency in a project management software that we utilize, known as BuilderTrend.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Residential construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with office, sub contractors, inspectors, and home owners to ensure projects are complete timely and in the correct manner.
- Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation on-site.
- Utilize project management software such as Buildertrend and Monday.com to track project progress, approve invoices, review upcoming project, and much more.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality of work, and customer relations
- Understand construction estimates and budgets while managing costs effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate regularly with clients, management, and office regarding project status, challenges, and resolutions.
- Implement effective time management strategies to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Field experience in building is a requirement for this management role. You must have had previous hands on, building field experience in order to be considered.
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role in the residential construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and methodologies.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation of technical documents.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of project management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $94,450.00 - $115,000.00 per year
