JOB SUMMARY
We are recruiting for a global manufacturer of specialty industrial and commercial equipment, with products operating at customer sites in more than 80 countries. The manufacturing and shipping facility in Arvada, CO supports a fast-paced production environment serving commercial and industrial clients worldwide.
We are searching for a dependable Logistics Associate to support our Shipping department on a temporary basis. In this role, you will monitor inventory, load and unload shipments, pick and pack orders, and help prepare finished equipment for delivery — keeping our production and fulfillment operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on, physical role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, operates safely, and is ready to contribute from day one.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs or shortages to ensure proper stock is maintained to support build and repair activities

Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments

Pick, pull, and pack according to sales orders

Wrap and package machines and equipment for delivery

Manage Kanban system in assigned area(s) of responsibility

Build pallets and crates to meet order-specific requirements

Operate hand and power tools including saws, pneumatic nail guns, impact guns, drills, heat guns, and tape measures

Ability to work safely outdoors year-round regardless of weather conditions

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards

Perform other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED equivalent
-
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions and shipping/order documents in English

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Extreme attention to detail and accuracy

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Must adhere to all safety policies and regulations; ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Must be available to begin on-site immediately following the interview
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1–4 years of experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment

Knowledge of reverse logistics processes

Experience handling vendor relationships
-
Forklift certified — or ability to obtain certification

Experience with SAP or Lotus Notes
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

On-site position at our manufacturing facility in Arvada, CO — not remote eligible

Active warehouse and production floor environment; noisy conditions; exposure to varying indoor and outdoor temperatures year-round

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, stoop, crouch, climb, and use hands to grip regularly

Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Must maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards
