The Quality Inn Florence is looking for an individual who is motivated, enthusiastic, and customer service focused to join our Breakfast Team as a part-time Breakfast Attendant. This job is Saturday & Sundays Starting at 5am.
Breakfast Attendant Responsibilities:
The Attendant is responsible to prepare, menu items according to Brand specifications. He/she will also clean and sanitize all work areas including kitchens, food preparation, dish washing, storage, service and other areas as directed. He/she may help order supplies or help keep records and accounts. He/she will follow safe food handling and service practices, and He/she will comply with obtaining a food handlers card and/ or regulatory requirements.
Breakfast Attendant Requirements:
- Portion, arrange, food, and maintain the buffet for the guests.
- Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature
- Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotation stock.
- Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
- Responsible for the sanitation of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Follow safe food handling and service practices at all times.
Experience/Education:
- Previous hotel (or like) kitchen experience preferred, but not required
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Food handling certificate is/will be required.
Hours of position
This is a part-time positions available 2 days a week (Saturday & Sunday) with some fill-ins shifts available. This is a morning position which may include weekends and holidays. Starting time is 5:00am. Most weeks will be 12-14 hours per week total. You must be a morning person! Training will be about 18 hours additional hours.
