Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and needs
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements
- Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, and dermal fillers when appropriate
- Manage acute pain cases, infectious diseases, and chronic conditions across various specialties including geriatrics, pediatrics, and behavioral health
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Athenahealth, or Cerner for accurate documentation and medical records management
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals across disciplines to develop comprehensive care strategies
- Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to quality care for diverse patient populations
Qualifications
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification in your practicing state
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations including children, seniors, and individuals with disabilities
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth; telehealth experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, pharmacology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques
- Experience performing procedures like suturing, phlebotomy, venipuncture, spinal taps, and dermal filler injections
- Critical care experience including ICU or Level I/II trauma center exposure highly desirable
- Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), Workers’ Compensation law, HIPAA regulations and drug enforcement agency (DEA) regulations

Pay: $134,278.55 - $161,711.80 per year
