Job Overview
We are a growing BBQ restaurant specializing in authentic grilled dining. We are passionate about serving high quality food and creating memorable dining experiences with genuine hospitality. We are looking for friendly, energetic waiters and waitresses who enjoy connecting with guests, introducing our menu, and creating a welcoming tableside experience. You will guide guests through our signature table grilling service while delivering attentive, professional service from start to finish.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them through the unique table grilling experience, ensuring they understand the process and menu options.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using TOAST POS and RESY, processing sales transactions efficiently.
- Serve food, beverages, cocktails, spirits, and wine with professionalism, upselling items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, handling food safely, and ensuring all dining areas are inviting and well-organized.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments through POS system; handle cash transactions with integrity.
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items like wine pairings or cocktail options and accommodating special requests.
- Assist with food preparation support when needed, ensuring smooth operations during busy shifts while adhering to food safety protocols.
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining or hospitality experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as TOAST enhances efficiency in order processing.
- Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation is desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic attitude to engage guests actively and create a lively atmosphere.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent time management skills during busy shifts.
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions smoothly.
- Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a fast-paced setting.
