We are seeking an experienced Revenue & Billing Manager to oversee our billing operations and ensure the accurate and timely processing of customer invoices for fuel deliveries.

Position Summary
The Revenue & Billing Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's billing and revenue processes from fuel delivery through invoicing. This position will also supervise and lead the Revenue and Billing Department, ensuring staff are meeting performance expectations, maintaining billing accuracy, and providing excellent customer service. The manager will work closely with Operations, Dispatch, Customer Service, and Accounting to ensure all fuel deliveries are billed accurately, customer pricing is maintained correctly, and revenue is reconciled in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate the Revenue and Billing team.
- Assign daily workloads and monitor department productivity and accuracy.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment.
- Manage all customer billing and invoicing for fuel deliveries.
- Verify delivery tickets, Bills of Lading (BOLs), dispatch records, and supporting documentation for billing accuracy.
- Review customer pricing, contracts, fuel surcharges, taxes, and fees to ensure invoices are accurate.
- Reconcile daily revenue and identify billing discrepancies.
- Work closely with Dispatch, Operations, Accounting, and Customer Service to resolve delivery and billing issues.
- Monitor unbilled deliveries and ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner.
- Assist with month-end revenue reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Respond to customer billing inquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies professionally.
- Maintain accurate customer billing records and pricing information.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and internal controls.
- Prepare reports and provide updates on billing performance, revenue trends, and departmental metrics to leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in billing, revenue management, accounting, or transportation finance.
- Previous supervisory or management experience is required.
- Experience in the fuel, petroleum, trucking, transportation, logistics, or distribution industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of invoicing, revenue reconciliation, accounts receivable, and customer billing.
- Experience reviewing Bills of Lading (BOLs), delivery documentation, and transportation records is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), ERP systems, or accounting software is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and lead a high-performing team.
