Are you hard-working, detail-oriented, and ready to make a real difference? Akela Pest Control is looking for a Service Professional – Pest Control Technician to join our A-Team! This is a full-time, non-exempt position serving the Riverside, CA area, with weekly check-ins at our Riverside office.
Pay
· $20 an hour/ base pay increased base upon licensing & experience. Plus Commission
What You’ll Do:
- Provide high-quality pest control services to residential and commercial clients
- Maintain accurate records of services performed
- Educate customers on prevention strategies and our service offerings
- Travel throughout your assigned territory daily
- Work independently while staying connected with a supportive, tight-knit team
- Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues
- Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order while maintaining Ag regulation standards.
- Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
- Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
- Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
- Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage reporting
- Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area, as well as, the possibility of outside but surrounding cities
- Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
- Tuesday through Saturday

Requirements:
- 1+ years of Pest Control experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Active Structural Pest Control License (Branch 2 preferred, Applicator is acceptable)
- Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing/certification exams
