Position Summary
As a Sales Consultant, you will represent TNR Companies by connecting directly with homeowners through neighborhood canvassing and community outreach. Your primary responsibility is to introduce homeowners to our FREE exterior inspection services, identify potential exterior improvement needs, and generate qualified inspection appointments.
This position involves walking assigned neighborhoods, speaking with homeowners door-to-door, building trust, educating customers about the condition of their property, and helping them schedule a professional inspection with one of our experienced inspectors.
You’ll also be responsible for accurately collecting customer information and entering every qualified lead into our RoofLink system to ensure proper scheduling and follow-up.
This is a relationship-driven position. We believe in educating homeowners—not using high-pressure sales tactics. Our goal is to provide value, earn trust, and help homeowners make informed decisions about protecting their homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily neighborhood canvassing in assigned territories.
- Visit homeowners door-to-door to introduce TNR Companies and our services.
- Generate qualified inspection appointments through face-to-face interactions.
- Educate homeowners about Roofing, Siding, Gutters, Windows, and Doors.
- Identify potential exterior improvement opportunities.
- Collect accurate customer information.
- Enter all qualified customer information into the company’s RoofLink system.
- Schedule free exterior inspections.
- Maintain accurate daily activity records.
- Represent TNR Companies professionally at all times.
- Build long-term relationships within the communities you serve.
- Work closely with our inspection and production teams.
- Meet weekly performance goals and company standards.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, confident, and professional attitude.
- Comfortable speaking with homeowners in person.
- Comfortable walking neighborhoods and working outdoors for extended periods.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Basic smartphone and computer skills.
- Sales or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
