We are currently looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Coating Technician to join our team. This full-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is eager to grow within a specialized field.
Shift Details:
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- Overtime and weekends as needed based on production demands
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to stand, bend, and walk for 8+ hours per shift
- Comfortable working with potentially hazardous materials and wearing PPE
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office experience is a plus
- Forklift and Powder Coating 101 certifications preferred, but not required
Job Responsibilities:
- Stage and prepare components for coating
- Load and unload parts on the production line
- Cure coated components in the oven
- Assist with monitoring coating equipment
- Perform basic inspections and quality checks
- Report machine or equipment issues to maintenance staff
- Follow detailed safety and production procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Accurately input coating and quality control data
- Collaborate with team members and leads to ensure production goals are met
- Adhere to all PPE and safety guidelines
