Job Summary

In this lively role, you’ll serve delicious ice cream treats, Beer Tending, handle cash transactions with precision, and provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Greet customers warmly, assist with menu selections, and serve ice cream cones, sundaes, and other treats with enthusiasm.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and manage cash handling procedures with integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas, counters, and seating areas.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and maximize sales opportunities.
- Restock supplies, manage food handling protocols, and ensure proper food safety practices are followed.
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen or food prep tasks as needed in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or retail environments is preferred; culinary or café experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
