About the Practice
We are a growing medical spa and regenerative wellness clinic serving the Pawleys Island and Litchfield Beach communities. Our services include hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), red light therapy, laser treatments (including UltraClear), peptide therapy, IV therapy, and other wellness and regenerative services.
We are seeking a South Carolina-licensed physician to serve as Medical Director and provide clinical oversight for the practice.
Role Overview
The Medical Director will provide physician supervision and clinical oversight in accordance with South Carolina law. Day-to-day patient consultations and examinations will primarily be performed by a Physician Assistant under the Medical Director’s supervision and established protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight for medical services offered at the clinic
- Develop, review, and maintain treatment protocols and standing orders
- Supervise the Physician Assistant and clinical staff in accordance with South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners requirements
- Conduct periodic chart reviews and quality oversight
- Be available for clinical consultation as needed
- Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations
- Maintain independent medical judgment and clinical authority
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of South Carolina
- Ability to provide meaningful clinical supervision and oversight
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Clean professional record
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience serving as a Medical Director, collaborating physician, or supervising physician
- Interest or experience in regenerative medicine, wellness, aesthetics, hyperbaric therapy, or laser treatments
Additional Information
This is a part-time supervisory role. Compensation will be discussed with qualified candidates. The position requires compliance with South Carolina supervision and delegation standards.
