Summary of Position
Niles Industrial Coatings, LLC is a privately held and financially strong industrial services company that prides itself on the safety of its workers. Niles is looking for a full-time Shop Technician to work at our Fenton, MI location. Candidate must be flexible, reliable, and be able to multitask. This person will work for the Lead Technician and must be willing to support Operations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Test, repair and maintain blast pots, paint pumps, and a variety of other equipment such as small engine (gas & electric), vehicles, ATV’s, golf carts, etc.
· Accurately document repair and maintenance orders for equipment
· Diagnose equipment issues
· Inventory of repair parts
· General warehouse housekeeping and maintenance
· Follow established procedures
Required Qualifications
· Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience
· Must be mechanically inclined
· Must be detail and accuracy oriented
· Must have good communication skills
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Ability to take direction from the Lead Technician
· Must be able to adjust to schedule changes and accommodate as needed
· Some travel required
· Chauffer’s License or CDL (good driving record)
· Mechanical experience (pumps/pressurized systems)

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Small engine repair: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Chauffeur's Permit (Preferred)
